How is concrete leveling different from your steel-pier foundation repair?
Concrete leveling raises flatwork like driveways, walks, patios, and garage slabs by filling voids beneath them. It does not underpin or structurally stabilize your home's foundation. We treat it as protection, keeping water from ponding against the slab, not as a substitute for pier work where the house itself has moved.
Why does my walkway settle but the house next to it seems fine?
Flatwork sits shallow, right in the active zone where Central Texas clay swells and shrinks the most, and it has no piers. A driveway or walk can drop a full inch while the piered or deeper-footed house holds. That settled panel then funnels rainwater straight toward your foundation.
Will polyurethane foam lifting hold in Blackland Prairie clay?
The foam fills the void and re-supports the slab, but it does not stop the Houston Black clay underneath from cycling. How soon can I drive on or use the concrete after it's lifted?
