How the lift actually works

Once the survey shows a repair is warranted, we drive galvanized steel piers hydraulically at the low points. That's the distinction that matters: a pier anchored below the seasonal moisture zone gives us a stable point to lift from, while one that stops inside the clay just rides the seasons along with everything else.
